Uttar Pradesh to have 3 semi conductor plants

Uttar Pradesh government has approved 3 manufacturers- Kaynes Semicon, Vama Sundari Investments and TURCK to build semi conductors in the state. All three companies are expected to invest between Rs 40,000 crore and Rs 80,000 crore in their respective areas. Land required for the projects are allotted by the state government. In Noida, 225 acres of land in Sector 10 and Sector 28 has been allotted. The new facilities will produce 2.40 lakh chips per month and will require 19 MW of electricity and 2,000 million litres of water per day.
